What’s your favorite candy?

Not at all invested in this prompt but reading other people’s answers and wondering what constitutes ‘candy’? I thought it was an American term used as a catch all for any sweet or chocolate treat? Or is it the equivalent of a UK ‘sweetie’ rather than chocolate or biscuits? You know, something like a humbug, Werthers Original or a wine gum?

For brevity, if we’re referring to ‘sweeties’, I’m a marshmallow girl. Not flumps or those super sized sugar coated monstrosities. I’m talking the classic Princess pink and white marshmallows. Delicious as they are. Even better toasted on the fire.

If Candy also constitutes chocolate then it’s the classic Cadbury giant button. Basic, I know.
